Lead Designer
After Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood was complete, there were some folks that were unallocated until this project came along. The History Channel, Foglight Entertainment, and Gearbox Software partnered for a one of a kind full-length documentary. I was honored to be chosen as lead designer for the project. It featured new WW2 veteran interviews, on-site re-enactments, footage from Brothers in Arms, and is narrated by Ron Livingston. My duties included working with our producer to receive a list of desired shots to aid the documentary footage, then either recording existing content in the game, making new content to be recorded, or working with two or three other designers assigned to the project to get the scenes completed. Custom shots often required new AI setup, camera movements, combat setups, and changes to existing environments. Even though the shot lists were in the form of text or verbal feedback (as opposed to storyboards), the project went very smoothly and was a blast.
